About RACHELLE BOJER:

Rachelle Bojer, MSPT, graduated from New York’s Mercy College in 2001 with a master of science in physical therapy and health science. Prior to founding Lotus Physical Therapy in 2012, Rachelle spent eight years as the director of physical therapy for Orthopaedic Associates of Manhasset, a large medical practice in Great Neck, New York, practiced early intervention for children ages 0-3 yrs., and sports orthopedics at a private facility in NYC.

Rachelle is passionate about women's health and wellness. She specializes in pelvic floor dysfunction issues throughout the lifespan.  These issues can result from high level athletic/sports activity, childbirth, trauma, abdominal or pelvic surgeries, and hormonal changes. All sessions with her are private and held in strict confidentiality.

Rachelle’s experience and expertise in pregnancy-related issues propelled her to develop Core Connection, a program that helps women prevent and heal diastasis recti, a common issue in pregnancy.  This program is designed to help during the prenatal period before birth as well as afterward for healing after childbirth.

Rachelle has developed  her skills in the area of pediatric pelvic floor dysfunction to treat issues such as withholding, constipation, and bed wetting.  She has also found a passion in helping the peri- and menopausal woman.  Rachelle hopes that she can help women with pain, sexual dysfunction, weakness or incontinence, especially when women have not been heard by other medical providers.

Rachelle is a board member of the Long Island Doula Association (LIDA) and a member of The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
