IMPORTANT- All classes are free! They are capped at 100 participants. If you registered but cannot make it, please remove yourself to make room for others. Many are going to be offered on a regular schedule. you will need to click register for each date that you would like to attend. Nancy Berlow, LCSW, has been working in the field of pre-natal and postpartum health for twenty-five years. Nancy received her MSW from Columbia University School of Social Work. Nancy worked at North Shore University Hospital on the Labor & Delivery and ante-partum and post-partum units for 12 years. She has run many support groups both in-person and virtually over the course of the last 20 years around issues related to infertility, post-partum, perinatal loss, etc. She currently has a private practice with office locations in Plainview and Huntington.

~Miso Glaze Recipe~
1/3 cup blond or white miso
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tablespoon or more toasted sesame oil
3 tablespoons mirin (Japanese rice wine)
2 tsp freshly grated ginger
1 large garlic clove, grated
Zest of one lime
Combine all of the ingredients until smooth. Brush on fish, chicken or pork or add to a stir-fry.

1 egg yolk
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp red wine vinegar
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 cup canola or olive oil
Whisk together egg yolk, mustard, vinegar, salt and pepper until combined well. Whisking constantly, drizzle in the oil very slowly, making sure the mixture thickens. If at any time it appears that the oil is not being incorporated, stop adding the oil and whisk the mixture vigorously until completely emulsified, then resume adding oil. Season to taste - Enjoy with crab legs, boiled shrimp, cold leftover fish, chicken salad, on sandwiches and on anything else you’d like!
